A film documenting two local men’s journey on El Camino de Santiago will be presented in select theaters on Nov. 2.

Tickets are now available for the screening of “I’ll Push You: A Camino Journey of 500 Miles, Best Friends, and One Wheelchair.” The documentary is about Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray’s trip in 2014 along ancient pathways in Spain.

The two men are best friends who live in Eagle. Skeesuck has a degenerative autoimmune disease, and his wheelchair was pushed along the Camino’s challenging terrain by Gray and a host of supporters.

The documentary will be in more than 500 cinemas nationwide for the one-night screening on Nov. 2, which will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Locally, “I’ll Push You” will be shown at the Edwards Boise Stadium 21 & IMAX on Overland Road and the Edwards Boise Downtown Stadium 9 on Broad Street. Ticket information is available at illpushyou.com.

In April, “I’ll Push You” won the Audience Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Skeesuck and Gray also authored and released a book under the same name and are working on a children’s book, set to be released in the spring.
