Treasure Valley Kite Festival returns to Meridian Saturday By Meridian Press staff firstname.lastname@example.org HollyBeechMP Apr 26, 2017 (…) Locals came out to Kleiner Park in Meridian April 30, 2016, to enjoy the third annual Treasure Valley Kite Festival. The fourth annual festival will take place April 29, 2017. Submitted by Misty Maloney The fourth annual Treasure Valley Kite Festival is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Kleiner Park, 1900 N. Records Ave. in Meridian.Free kites will be provided while supplies last. Awards and prizes will be available for kite competitions, and there are no losers in the kids’ competition. All ages are welcome to join the free event. At 11 a.m., a professional kite flyer will present on fighting kites and more.The festival is hosted by Epique Events, along with Cumulus Radio, Toytown and Bang on the Wall Burgers.
