Nampa man dies in rollover on Chinden MERIDIAN PRESS STAFF email@example.com Mar 20, 2013 (…) ADA COUNTY — Ada County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that happened Tuesday night in west Ada County. The rollover on West Chinden Boulevard in Meridian was reported to Ada County Sheriff’s emergency dispatchers at 8:40 p.m. by a driver who saw it in his rearview mirror. × Advertisement Sheriff’s deputies responded and found a Toyota Tacoma pickup crashed on Chinden, just west of North Tree Farm Way. Investigators say the driver, a 35-year-old man from Nampa, had been thrown from the vehicle. Ada County Paramedics transported the driver to a Boise hospital where he was pronounced dead. There was no one else in the vehicle. The driver’s name will be released by the Ada County Coroner’s Office after his family has been notified. Information gathered so far indicates the driver of the Tacoma was traveling west on Chinden when the vehicle left the road and drove onto the right shoulder. Investigators say it appears the driver overcorrected, causing the pickup to move back onto the road and roll. Specifics about the crash, including the cause, remain under investigation. West Chinden Boulevard was closed between North Black Cat Road and North Ten Mile Road for several hours while evidence was collected and debris was cleared from the road.
