The Meridian City Council unanimously approved a cooperative agreement this week between the Meridian Fire Department and other local fire agencies Tuesday.

The West Ada School District will run a levy measure March 14. If approved, the plant facility levy will bring in up to $16 million a year for the next 10 years to be used for building maintenance and the purchase of future school sites.

Shane Bell, the former executive director of Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Nampa, has been named vice president for Life Care Centers of America’s Frontier Region. This region encompasses Life Care’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in southern Idaho and Utah.
